Dave Corboy Music had turned into a corporate nightmare during the 70's.
Disco had turned the masses into weak sheep. Rock had
retreated to the underground and was barely visible. The loss of rock to a commercial machine was bothersome, but
not debilatating to Corboy. While the years in art school passed, Corboy had been writing
songs. These songs would become the basic ground work for a
new band which was to emerge out of the Portland underground scene Mish
Bondage In 1982 Mish Bondage joined the band. She was
recruited from the all female band, The Braphsmears. Mish had been singing and writing songs for a number of years. Eric Couch Having been bitten by the punk-rock bug in high school, Eric
Couch abandoned a future of affluence and comfort and plunged headlong
into the debauchery of Portland’s punk scene. John
Shirley Mark Sten, John Shirley and a few others began putting shows
on around town. It was at one of these shows that Corboy saw
Shirley perform in the band Terror Wrist. This band broke up and John started a group called The
Monitors. Leesa Nation Leesa Anderson replaced John in 1979, and performed with the
band through 1982. She recorded the self-titled 7" EP. Leesa was known for her pop vocal style. Chuck Arjavac Chuck Arjavac started playing for Sado-Nation in
1981. He was the third drummer to join the band. Steve Casmano Steve Casmano first saw Sado-Nation in Eugene at a gig and was
so enthralled with the band that he moved to Portland and quietly bided
his time until a new bass player was needed. Band Members This
